The club was founded in September 2022 in order to participate in the international tournament held in Yerevan. After the tournament, the Peppers continued to exist and then participated in the Armenian Championship. The first season saw the club finish third in the regular season and lose to Pyunik 1-3 in the semi-final playoff series.
CLUB MEMBERSThe club was founded in 2017 in Yerevan by local hockey players. Before participating in the Armenian Championship, the team trained independently and participated in amateur tournaments. In the first season of the Armenian championship, the team won the regular season and reached the playoff final. Pyunik won Peppers 3-0 in semifinal.
CLUB MEMBERSAt the beginning of 2022, the Yerevan sports club, already having a title-winning football team, added a hockey team. The Armenian Championship became the first tournament in which Pyunik participated. The club immediately showed excellent results, taking second place in the regular season and reaching the finals of the playoffs.
CLUB MEMBERSThe new club is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. The composition of the army club will mainly be made up of hockey players from former members of the AHL — the Sharks and Falcons teams.
The team was founded in 2022 and before the Armenian Championship participated in several tournaments that were held in Yerevan. In the first season of the Armenian Championship, "Falcons" took fourth place in the regular season and entered the playoffs, where they lost to "Lions" 0-3 in the semi-finals.
CLUB MEMBERSHC "Ararat" was founded in 2012. Started participating in national championship of Armenia from 2014-2015 season.
HC "Urartu" was founded in 2001 year."Urartu" paricipated in national championship of Armenia from 2002-2003 season till now."Urartu" became champion of Armenia multiple times.
HC “Erebuni” has started to participate in Armenian national championship from 2010. In 2016 the team was renamed HC “Malatia”. After playing one season, it was again renamed HC “Erebuni”.
HC "Shirak" is the oldest hcokey club in Armenia. It was founded yet in USSR in city of Leninakan (nowadays Gyumri). It is unique with its good and old hockey traditions.
Officially Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex was opened in 1983 and was designed by a group of Armenian architects: A. Tarkhanian, S. Khachikyan, G. Pogosyan and G. Mushegyan. In 2005 started the renovation process which took almost 3 years and its cost grew up to 42 million US dollars, thus turning the complex to a modern and a high level sports and concerts arena with an ice rink and huge concert hall.
Irina Rodnina Figure Skating Centre is a figure skating and ice hockey centre and school in the Armenian capital Yerevan. The centre was opened in December 2015 and has a capacity nearly 600 seats. It is located on Admiral Isakov 27/10 Avenue, adjacent to the Yerevan Velodrome. The construction of the new centre was launched June 2014 and completed in November 2015. It was financed by the Moscow-based "MonArch Group" headed by the Armenian businessman Sergei Hambardzumyan. The total construction cost was US$ 7.55 million. It was officially opened on 5 December 2015.
The Winter park is located at 1/8 Tbilisi Highway in Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan. It became the first park in Yerevan which was especially designed for the winter period. There are various activities such as skating, sliding on the boards and sleds, snowball playing yard and etc. The Ice rink is 30x60 meters, where Ice hockey and figure skating activities are taking place.
The Swan Lake is situated in the very center of capital city Yerevan between Tumanyan and Sayat-Nova streets. It was built in late 1960s and became very beloved place for foreigners and local people. In 2005 Yerevan Municipality decided to freeze the lake in winter period. By that time it was the only outdoor ice rink in Yerevan. Nowadays, in the cold period of year, many people enjoy the sport atmosphere at the Swan Lake.
